No legal warranty about the accuracy of the data is provided or implied. The system uses data from publicly available files. Files have been converted using due diligence and sound data conversion and editing techniques. Users should consult the MOD IV documentation embedded in the application to understand the data fields and what they mean. System administrators provide limited support on use of the application.
Users are advised to review the application “About” page for details about the application and how to use it. Users are urged to use the application’s tools learn how to use the system and to notify system managers of any difficulties or data issues. No user data is sold but may be subject to requests under the New Jersey Open Public Records Act.
The system tracks basic metrics of users (primarily how much data is downloaded). Users found to abuse the system by downloading multiple full municipal, county or statewide datasets may be contacted by system administrators to discuss alternative approaches to obtaining the data. Rutgers reserves the right to revoke user access if system resources are being abused by individual users.
